This view looks east toward Big Bend National Park, with the Chisos Mountains prominent in the view.
FM 170 runs alongside the Rio Grande for most of this section.
Soon after joining the river, there is a abandoned movie set for the film Contrabando which depicts a classic rural Mexican village.
A web search reveals that Contrabando was a Spanish-language film made in 1980.
