The weather was ideal and the crowds were large for the 2017 Lone Star Rally in Galveston the weekend of November 4.

The Strand is the main center of activity for the rally, serving as the cruising strip for bikes. There are numerous vendors of merchandise and food on the side streets, and at least one stage for bands. (The AC/DC tribute band "Highway to Hell" was really good.)

A second activity center is along section of the Seawall near 25th Street, mainly featuring the larger motorcycle equipment vendors.

(Nov 4, 2017) With the Astros winning the World Series just a few days before the rally, plenty of folks were wearing Astros apparel.

(Nov 4, 2017) "Daisy Dukes" denim shorts are definitely in style for the ladies. The new wave of daisy dukes features pockets which extend below the front edge of the shorts.
(Nov 4, 2017) This guy is wearing a T-shirt with the letters SWAT for south west Alief Texas (a bad area of southwest Houston), with the W formed by what appears to be a hand with a gang sign. Just behind are two girls wearing daisy dukes shorts.

(Nov 4, 2017) The girls serving beer were scantily clad. This one was wearing more clothes than most of the beer booth girls.
(Nov 4, 2017) This guy was parading on the Strand on a mini bike and wearing a Nirvana t-shirt. I'm thinking his street cred was low.
